The Gulley pit.

It was on the next mountain, so you zigzagged all the way down to the valley, then you zigzagged all the way up the next one.
   
It turned out to be unuseable, too much clay or something, it kept plugging the mill.So it ended up being shut down.

Another small pit was the Tarn pit, named after the lake just above it.
It was just a pocket of ore and did not last long.
The lake itself was icefree only about six weeks during the summer, the little shack is a sauna. Jumping in that water after a sauna was an experience,believe you me!

All this ore from underground and the pits had to be milled,ofcourse.
